Trend Report says "No Data Available"
When I run a Trend Report, why does Maxwell say "No Data Available" when I have several measurements uploaded?
- Possible solutions
- If you have not created any metrics for a track, then you have not told Maxwell what you want to know, what you want Maxwell to "report."
Run through the procedure for "Creating Metrics for a Track."
Why do my measurements end up being all black?
I have successfully used ColorShuttle to measure my targets and saw that it passed my pass/fail test. All is fine until I go look at my track in Maxwell and see that all the patches measure black (0, 0, 0) in Maxwell online. The files I upload from another computer work fine.
- Possible Solutions
- It takes a minute or two for Maxwell to process your uploaded file. Check back in a few minutes, refresh the Maxwell pane and see if the colors show up.
- Are you in Europe? The computer you are using for your measurements may be set to use commas for decimal places. Unfortunately ColorShuttle is "smart" about that and automatically uses the system's settings when saving text files. So your uploaded file had commas rather than periods and Maxwell didn't interpret them properly. It would seem your other machine was set to use periods. In the future our software will use periods only.
